Zenith Chronomaster a384 Revival

If you are into vintage inspired watches, with retro vibes, but hates to maintain older more delicate movements, then this Revival A384 is just the right watch for you

An almost one to one reproduction of the original watch, there is very much to like about this A384

To start off you have this retro 38mm case that feels and looks really great. Its finishing is superb, and has a totally funky look to it. Not to mention the sizing is great, any wrist should be able to pull this off

Then we have that "reverse panda" layout, with a basic white dial and black subdials, making it a very sporty looking watch. Add a splash of red on the chronograph hand, and some text, the watch looks superb

Turning the watch around showcases the venerable el primero calibre, that is of course made in house, and is finishing beautifully. I always enjoy watches with display casebacks, as we can see the inner workings of the watch which makes it extra interesting for me

We also have this funky ladder bracelet, from days gone by, making the retro look complete. While the bracelet may look a bit odd at first, but you appreciate it as you wear them on the wrist, as it feels comfortable, lighter, and airier than the usual bracelets

I think the watch is superb, and a fine addition if you would like to add something to your collection with a vintage vibe, and definitely great for everyday wear too

Rolex Oyster Perpetual 39mm Blue

This is due to its simplicity yet somewhat both casual and elegant in nature It is also too bad that they are now discontinued, but I find their 39mm size to be perfect for an everyday watch, super nice proportions on the wrist, and definitely very easy to wear This one here comes in a bright blue sunburst in colour. I find that making blue dials are quite a challenge, as they can look eiither bad or cheap or both. But I think they have achieved it well here, having spot on in their choice of colour, superb sunburst finishing, and a dash of neon green on the edge of the indexes gives a super fun splash of colour Their movement is of course very well made, super robust and definitely built to last. Zenith Pilot Doublematic

> IDR 98,000,000 < Occassionally, there comes a watch that looks more like a gadget than a watch itself. Like this Pilot Doublematic here, is truly an incredibly complex "thing" that will sit on your wrist. Lets get this off first, the watch isnt small, those expecting this watch to be a "classic" size should look elsewhere. This 45mm sized baby will have presence on your wrist, as it should be. However, due to the quite manageable lug to lug distance, and the full dial, the watch actually look smaller than the size might suggest. As you can also see, there a whopping of 6 (six!) Crowns and pushers on the watch, each corresponding to a different function. And funnily, it doesnt look out of place at all The dial is busy, with a whole set of features that will take some time for you to process initially, and appreciate afterwards.
